Quotes
Before any panels or motorcycle arrives, a rough quote will be given. Please remember that quotes do not include postage in either direction and are a best guess only. Once the panels/motorcycle/work is here, and actual final art is discussed, we can give a much more accurate quote. Keep in mind that repair, additional bodywork, fabrication, and the like, if not specifically discussed during initial quote process, will add to the final total.

Fuel Tank Preparation
All new petrol tanks must be sealed internaly. Due to the rise in ethenol content in petrol we have a new product fit for the purpose, please note that petseal and other similare makes are not ethenol proof,

Customers must indicate in the space below, whether or not, the tank has been sealed. Cost for tank preparation is listed below:

Payments
A deposit of up to 20% or £100 is due to begin work. The balance of the total bill is due prior to postage or collection. Absolutely no paintwork leaves the premises without full payment. A final balance will be given at least 2 days before paint is ready for collection. Personal checks are accepted but paintwork cannot be collected until payment has cleared. We reserve the right to hold the final product paid with a personal check for up to 10 business days.

we are not responsible for any change of heart after the paint/artwork is complete and once the work has left our building unless it is covered by our warranty, we insist that you thoroughly check your item/s onsite before any payment is made

Timeline
Typical turnaround time is 1 – 4 weeks. Complex artwork, excess bodywork/fabrication and industry show timing will affect turnaround.
Rush Fee – any job that needs to be completed outside the normal production time, or that requires overtime hours, will be charged a rush fee of at least 20%.

Storage Fees / Abandonment
Paint work is expected to picked up and paid in full upon completion. Any job that is not picked up or paid in full and shipped within 10 days of completion is subject to a weekly storage fee of up to 10%. Any job left unclaimed for 90 days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Custom Paint Studio




Shipping/delivery
Custom Paint Studio is not responsible for postage charges in either direction. We will make recommendations for postage, if asked. All postage charges incurred will be billed to the client. Overnight and 2nd day shipping is expensive. Please keep that in mind when planning your paint timeline. Paint must be dry and completely cured to ship. Absolutely no paint will be despatched until it has reached a full cure. Unfortunately, paint is not an exact science, and weather is a very big factor in cure time. Custom paint studio cannot be responsible for extra cure time.


Limited Warranty
Our limited warranty covers product defect and paint malfunction due to preparation errors only, for the duration of 18 months. We do not cover damage to paint due to improper maintenance, riding wear, weather conditions, or petrol cap chipping and bubbling issues, this happens to manufacturers paintwork. We do not warranty paint on any bodywork that was not completed in our shop by our technicians. if you have had any repairwork or fabrication work done by a third party or yourself, Custom Paint Studio cannot be held responsible for faulty craftsmanship of any sheet metal or fillerwork and is not responsible for damage to paint or bodywork caused by cracking or malfunction of sheet metal or improper mounting (ie fender bubbles) or any third party faulty craftmanship 

Pop Up petrol Caps
The pop up petrol caps that are so popular in the industry today are a paint liability. Due to the design, paint seals are easily broken. Custom Paint Studio takes extra care to completely seal all exposures on these petrol caps, but cannot be held responsible for bubbling and chipping of paint around the opening or on the cap itself. If you choose to use one of these caps, please take extra care at the gas pump to ensure that the nozzle does not touch the paint. Absolutely any nick or chip in the paint around the opening or on the cap will allow petrol or petrol fumes to work their way under the finish, resulting in bubbling and chipping. Custom Paint Studio is not responsible for paint damage of any kind due to the use of pop up petrol caps.

HELMETS

Please note that we are not responsible for any labeling or racing scrutineering on any helmets, as we are happy to supply the service for painting your helmet, I or Custom Paint Studio are not responsible in any way for removing stickers or labels from the helmet prior to painting, please check with your helmet rep or scruitineer before commiting to the paintwork, if your helmet is legal for the purpose that is intended ther will be a stiched in tag or label on the inside of the helmet usually on the chin strap, this is all you will need as usually all outer stickers can be removed without any issues
