Here is a selection of our favourite press and magazine feature's, we have had some good times with our customers when working on these projects.

The Hairy Vampire

100% biker magazine this month (may) features one of our favourite jobs in the last 12 months, hairybush bike builders very own hand built custom chopper, completed in house of colour throughout, with a crazy front wheel and even weirder guards, this is truly a one off bike im sure you will agree, look out for the next one in july edition of 100% Biker, and I know that Mr Hairbush himself has already started on his next weird and wonderful creation

The Ace.... Another hairybush build with our paintwork

This paint job consited of marbliser candy mix, airbrushed flames, skulls and playing cards Mark the owner at the time wanted skulls or a grim reaper one one condition, it had to have some playing cards in the paintwork somewhere

Flame

In June 2008 Our paintwork graced the cover of scootering magazine, I was given a free reign of how far to go with this paintjob, at first all that was decided was that the scooter was to be orange but after seeing a snatch themed scooter that i did a while before he like the metal flake that was in the paintwork so it was decide that a candy orange with a metal flake was called for, also i had just finished a flame job on a harley davidson which was still waiting for collection and was then totally undecided of what kind of graphics that was to be applied to the bike as origionally it was going to be a chequered flag, in the end the customer decided with the flames but left it to me to as much or as little as i thought, above is the finished result, one of our favourite flame jobs!!

Snatch Themed Lambretta

This Lambretta was one main scooters that helped us break into the scooter scene, origionally the colour was to be house of Kolor pagan gold, of which the customer had seen in another bike shop window of a chopper I had painted a couple of months before, but again I had another customers Bike in at the time which was candy apple red and changed his mind in a flash, i added some house of kolor flake to it and and was ready for the airbrushing, it was a tricky to pick out what to put and where, but the customer gave me full control again and left me to it, with airbrushed portraits in a full mural across the front of the scooter, diamonds and of course an airbrushed portrait of the dog. ( better pictures coming soon!!)

Wolves Theme Vespa

This bike had been passed around a bit by a couple of painters, It came to me in somewhat of a mess, between myself and the customer better known as 'Bodie' it took around three weeks to finish the bike, lots of long days and changes of ideas passed about.

one of the hardest parts was to replicate the signatures of some of the players on the inside of the front leg shield which i airbrushed to look like the wolves away shirt, the main paint colour of the bike was a smooth pearl orange of which was custom mixed as a one off for Mr Cox(bodie),  along with the airbrushed old style photographs and a ten pound note on the other side, and the clubs history painted down the middle.

The day of the photo shoot for the magazine, Bodie had bought a new helmet, and wanted it painting to match the bike,  so I had about 3 hours to paint a helmet and get him down to the wolves ground for the shoot, lets just say he was there on time with a lovely looking helmet although slightly sticky

Monster and betty boop

Rick Came to see us with an idea for old skool flames on a new scooter, he wanted something just to break it up a bit as it was just black, but as with most, saw one of our demonstration panels with the blue fire effect airbrushed. Apart from the real fire effect airbrushing,  Rick was a bit partial to the music of the band 'The Automatic' so had a mural airbrushed on the toolbox cover from the song Monster,

The red one was a retro look scooter for his wife  making it look a bit sporty but with a seventy's sort of look, again on the tool box cover she had airbrushing of betty boop

More to be updated shortly, and maybe some better pictures!!!!
